For those lazy individuals such as myself who don't want to upgrade to gnome2.1 for one reason or another (using debian is my excuse) please find attached a patch against control-center 2.0.3 that updates the proxy capplet so that it can be used for configuring proxies for galeon. I simply copied the modified files from 2.1.3 tarballs, and there's no gconf schemas installed for those keys (which means if you unset a key, it vanishes, there's no default value.)
