Hello, First off thanks everybody for working on Galeon, which is the best browser I've ever used. I'm writing after spending the past couple of days trying to get the Java plugin working in Galeon/Mozilla on my Debian Linux PC. The information provided in the Galeon FAQ got me headed in the right direction, but is incomplete. It does not mention that the libjavaplugin_oji.so plugin is dependent upon the glibc2.1 version of libc++; this is important information because some distributions (Debian unstable) ship with glibc2.2 by default, and the older version of the library must be installed explicitly for the plugin to work. (In the case of Debian, the package to be installed is (libstdc++2.9-glibc2.1). I stumbled across this information at http://mozilla.weebeastie.net/java.shtml which explains how to troubleshoot and fix these library problems. Anyway, you might want to add a note in the FAQ about required versions of libc++, espescially since it's not at all obvious why the plugin doesn't work otherwise.
