I had this problem as well when I tryed the galeon-snapshot package from debian, I can reproduce this by: 1) rm -rf ~/.galeon-snapshot2 2) run galeon-snapshot 3) go to bookmark editor 4) import galeon bookmarks (bookmarks.xbel) 5) delete all bookmarks from that already exist (from inside the import wizard) 6) click automatic merge 7) and the result is 2 toolbars one of which you can't delete, but restarting removes it.
