If you compile galeon 1.2.8 against Mozilla 1.2.1 with XFT and GTK1,
then you'll still have the benefits a beautiful antialiased display
(which is a function of Xft anyway, and not gtk in either 1 or 2) and
the old galeon feature set.  The only caveat is that you galeon will
select fonts using the old X11 style (-family-font-etc-*-*-*-*( that's
not compatible with Xft.  Modifying prefs.js by hand in the profile you
can set the fonts to "Times New Roman" etc to get good fonts.
