A very very strange bug hit me recently... I cannot use the backspace key in text or textarea fields! Keys like ^d, ^k work, but backspacing, or selecting text and then backspacing doesn't, nothing happens. The delete key works, but not if text is selected. This is with a newly rebuild galeon 1.2.8 on a gentoo 1.4rc2 system. It was working before, I'm not sure what changed (rebuilding mozilla currently to see if that will help). This bug doesn't affect phoenix .5 (binary install) or mozilla, and only started recently. It *may* have been after a minor change to the mozilla ebuild (-r4 to -r5) but I can't be sure. I couldn't find any reference to this type of bug on the net, wondering if anyone here has seen it or anything like it before.
