blank page

Hello, ...

Thanks for the great job done on galeon2.

I just want to ask for a small feature request, and it concern the blank
page. In galeon 1, when you ask the browser to open in a blank page or
to open a new tab with a blank page, it did so. Galeon 2 is not doing
so, instead it opens an "about: blank" page, which is very not fun when
you are going to paste an address in the navigation input.

I know that you can paste the link into the page itself, but somehow
that disturbes me, and anyway, it will open a new tab, which is not the
exact same behavior.

So, unless i am missing something, it would be real nice to at least
open the blank page with the "about: blank" selected, so that a pasting
can replace it. I know there is a Ctr+ command to select the navigation
input, (Ctr+L, i think), but this will change the selection also, and
anyway, users should not really need to learn obscure keyboards
shortcuts.

I also had difficulties finding the "add a bookmark here" in the
personal bookmark bar menus, somehow i think it would be nice to add to
the right click menu of the bookmarks a "add a bookmark after this one"
if the bookmark is not a folder, which would allow for quicker placement
of bookmarks.

Apart from that, galeon 2 is great, and now that mozilla 1.3 is out, i
suppose there will be a new non-devel release soon, am i wrong ?

BTW, while looking at Apple's safari, and remembering the
focus-enlarging dock of mac OS X, i thought it would be nice to use such
a feature for the tab list. It would go like this, if the tabs fit in
the window, no problem, if they don't fit, they get shrinked to be
adjusted and to fit in the window, but when you pass over them with the
mouse, the tab under the mouse get enlarged so that you can read what is
in it, and can click on it in an easier way.

I don't think this is easily feasible without support from gtk2 though,
but i may be wrong.
