Hey there, I was using Galeon today and was struck again at how useful the smark-bookmarks in the toolbar were. I use Google often, and made one for myself that uses one of Google's university searches (Google's university specific searches are at http://www.google.com/options/universities.html). There are so many sites like this that just use a text entry field that it'd be cool to be able to automatically make your own. A user doesn't want to have to play with format strings. So, what would you think of a feature, that when on a page with a single text entry field, could make a smart bookmark for that page. I don't know the limitations that would have to be on it. Would it only be one where the query was on the URL? Maybe eventually it could handle pages with multiple text entry fields, but probably not right away. Good idea? Already done?
