In fact, Mozilla compiled with gtk2 as its toolkit is apparently considered experimental by Mozilla people. Granted, "unstable" is not intended to have just stable packages, but still, a somewhat more complete and stable browser would be very nice. If you (Mark) don't want to bring back Galeon 1.2.x as the default browser and compiled Mozilla with gtk1.2 as its toolkit, how about creating mozilla-*-gtk1 packages? I don't mean to be rude or demanding. Your work is enormously appreciated, and I value it greatly. > I have recompiled > Mozilla 1.3 for GTK1.2 and build Galeon 1.2.9 against it, for the people > interested: deb http://people.spacelabs.nl/~paul browser-gtk1.2/ Greatly appreciated, I will be adding that to me sources.list. > Note that the things said above are NOT Debian's opinion nor the ones > of the maintainers of galeon or mozilla.
