Hi, I recently tested some versions of the new galeon 1.3. I must say that I am really disappointed. I will now switch back to 1.2-versions. What I noticed so far: - You removed one of the nicest features of galeon, the keyword-search. http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=111299 This was one of the main reasons I preferred galeon from any other browser. It is even not possible to switch it back on as an option. - It is impossible to view the source of a page with a shortcut. Hey, this also is a major-feature. I am a webdesigner and I'm using this all the time when analyzing my webpages. http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=108081 - Most options aren't available through the galeon-options, instead you have moved them to gnome-control-center (proxy, themes etc.). I don't use gnome, but I would have to install lots of things from gnome just to configure galeon. When I started using galeon 1.2.x, I was really impressed by that browser. But 1.3.x seems to throw away lots of things that made galeon useful for me. I hope you change your mind and bring some useful options back. cu, Hanno ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net email is sponsored by:ThinkGeek Welcome to geek heaven. http://thinkgeek.com/sf
