Experiencing Galeon 1.3.4 on a LFS system

I finally managed to install and run Galeon 1.3.4 on a LFS system. For
what it's worth, it was a long (~3 days) task and it involved compiling,
tweaking and resolving dependencies for some ~15-20 Gnome2 packages,
plus Mozilla 1.3 (I was using 1.0.2 previously).

In case anyone else wants to go through it here's a list with the
Gnome2 packages I had to install in the order required to satisfy
dependencies:

2.4.3	ORBit-2.0 >= 2.0.0		OK
2.5.6	libxml-2.0 >= 2.4.0		OK
2.2.0	bonobo-activation-2.0 >= 2.0.0	OK
2.2.1	libbonobo-2.0 >= 2.0.0		OK
2.0.4	gnome-vfs-2.0 >= 2.0.0		OK
	gnome-vfs-module-2.0 >= 2.0.0	OK
2.0.1	libglade-2.0 >= 2.0.0		OK
2.3.0	libgnomecanvas-2.0 >= 2.0.0	OK
2.2.0	libgnome >= 2.0.0		OK
1.1.2	pango >= 1.1.2			OK
2.3.1	gconf-2.0 >= 2.0.0		OK
0.14+	pkgconfig			OK
2.1.4 	glib-2.0 >= 2.1.4		OK
	gobject-2.0 >= 2.1.4		OK
2.2.0	gtk+-2.0 >= 2.2.0		OK
	gdk-2.0 >= 2.2.0		OK
	gdk-pixbuf-2.0 >= 2.2.0		OK
2.2.0	libbonoboui-2.0 >= 2.1.1	OK
2.1.3	libgnomeui-2.0 >= 2.0.5		OK

There were issues with other Gnome 2 stuff such as gconf and overall
it was something I'd rather not go through again too soon. No offence
intended, please keep in mind that this is a LFS system so many of the
things one may take for granted in a "normal" distro are warped.

Funny thing is, I probably won't be using Galeon 1.3.4 just yet, I'll
revert to the old Mozilla 1.0.2 + Galeon 1.2.9 setup instead. 1.3 just
lacks too much right now to be considered a worthy alternative to even
Mozilla itself. I would've stuck with Mozilla 1.3 actually if it wasn't
for the lousy printing support.

Bottom line, even if I don't switch to 1.3 right now, I know what you
guys put into it and it's a great job, so I'm looking forward to 1.4.

Finally, being on a LFS system I keep some info about every package in a
text file (installation instructions, ./configure parameters and such)
so in case anybody needs the info files for the above Gnome packages,
for Mozilla or for Galeon just ask. They may give out useful pointers at
the very least.
