Hello all,

I just "upgraded" to 1.3.4 from 1.2.10 a week or so ago and am generally
happy with the result with a few exceptions. I must say that from much of
the discussion I was prepared for the worst and ready to hate it; I'm
pleased to discover most of my fears were unfouded and this is a really
slick browser. :)

Now, there are XXX things I'm not sure of as bugs or wishes, so I'll list
them here and let someone tell me whether to file a bugzilla and what type
to call it. :)

1) Bookmarks: There's no "Add bookmark to" option anymore?!?! So, to
properly position a new bookmark I need to just add it, THEN open up the
bookmarks editor and manually file it? Is this broken or planned?

2) Speaking of the bookmark editor, I'm not too fond of the current
dragging where the entire URL is in an opaque box---it makes it vcery hard
to see just where you're moving it to since it blocks all of your previous
entries, and the little bar is hard to find. I would prefer just the bar,
actually. Also, the dropping doesn't always file properly---esp. when
trying to drop INTO a (unexpanded) folder. It generally ends up outside
the folder rather than in it.

3) URL auto-completion drop-down is lacking funtionality, I think. In
galeon 1.2 I could type "foo." and the drop-down list would yield
"foo.bar.com, foo.baz.com, foo.barred.edu, foo.manchu.org" etc., I could
then use the down arrow to scroll through the options to select the one I
want. In galeon 1.3 it seems the only way to select from the list is to
use the mouse? Is this perhaps a GTK widget issue? It's inconvenient to
move from typing to the mouse and back.

4) I miss the ability to SHIFT-click to download files. Yes, the same
functionality is in the RIGHT-click/Download Link, but old habits die hard
and this has been a standard thing since Netscape 3. :)

5) I miss the printer icon in the toolbar. Sure, one can print with
CTRL-P, or by selecting the File menu item, but it was nice to just be
able to click on the toolbar. Is this just an oversight or a design
issue?

Thanks for listening, and great work!
-Don
