I must apologise for taking so long to follow up on this as I've been
rather invisible thanks to uni work until recently.

A list of missing functionality between 1.2.x and 1.3.x would be a very
useful thing to have (witness missing shift-click unrealised by me
until today!) to help us move forward.

With respect to a road map, our main focus right now is getting that
missing functionality back in, or explicitly rejecting it if it turned
out to be a past bad design decision.

Beyond that we want to revamp the pref system so that we're not relying
on obscure gconf-only prefs for key functionality while still keeping
the pref UI clean and useable. Tommi said he'd be working on this but
he's another invisible one atm; hopefully he'll be in a position to do
so.

The last step on the current list has actually alread seen some progress
and that's improving the privacy and filtering controls. I've already
got support for the various permission types back in but further work
is dependent on the pref reworking as privacy and filtering controls
are very much linked into the pref system.
