I've been using Galeon for so long now, that I've grown accustomed to the browser's quirks and progress to the point where Galeon feels like home. In the Windows world, however, I'm left with only a few choices and decided to give Firebird a try. It really is a sharp web browser, and it's extensible nature has me wondering if Galeon will ever support the same types of things. Are there any plans to add extensions support to Galeon? Skinning Galeon 1.2 was easy, but Galeon 2 seems to rely heavily on your Gnome 2 theme - I like the old way better (personally). Don't get me wrong, Galeon is fast (native GTK 2 versus XUL) and is still my browser of choice. But there are some extensions available to Firebird that really make the browser more versatile and flexible without requiring a code change. -- Michael Lee Yohe <[email protected]> ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: SF.net Giveback Program.
