As much as I like and depend on it, there are some very annoying problems. I suspect they'll be gone when the upgrade happens, especially if we're talking about a year's worth of forward motion appearing all in one go. I'll not bore anyone here with my tales of sudden death while printing to file, an SSL authentication form for a bank which I have to use Netscape for, etc... until I see if the new one fixes it all. > It's currently built on all architectures (amazingly), but one of its > dependencies, zlib is failing to compile on most architectures. Yes, I noticed that. Considering the huge number of packages that are backed up because of zlib, I'd presume that *someone* must consider it an extremely urgent matter to get it sorted. -- ------------------------------------------------------ Dale Amon [email protected] +44-7802-188325 International linux systems consultancy Hardware & software system design, security and networking, systems programming and Admin "Have Laptop, Will Travel" ------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: IBM Linux Tutorials.
