cvs requirements

Hi,
  I wanted to try the latest galeon from cvs, but unfortunately it
failed to build. The function gtk_combo_box_new_with_model was missing
(I have gtk 2.3.0. I think that function was added in 2.3.1). The
configure.in script still lists version 2.2 of gtk - is there any
chance this (and any others) could be updated?
