Latest Galeon won't compile

I reported this awhile ago, but think it got rejected for some reason.  
Galeon from CVS *still* will not compile, bombing at the following place:

g++ --version returns g++ (GCC) 3.2.2 20030222 (Red Hat Linux 3.2.2-5)

Any advice is welcome.
