Thanks for the tip. I fiddled around with the value and settled on "8"
as comfortable size for me (it shows roughly 10-13 characters of the
title on my system).

Please count me as a voter for making this a user-configurable option.
I actually switched browsers for the past week in part because of
this, and that's the first time I'd switched away from Galeon since I
started using it in 2001.

Do you know when between 1.3.14 and 1.3.19 this feature was dropped?
I'm not a programmer but I wonder if, since it existed at one point,
this feature can be re-integrated somehow if the code hasn't changed
much...

Oh, and for others on this list who may be interested, the other
browser is called Kazehakase. It's interesting, though still early in
development. I reminds me of the early days of Galeon, actually, and
has some interesting ideas.
