I'm not belittling anyone. Well, yes you are. The vast majority of users out there are used to broken windows boxes, to systems/apps that crash without good reason, to being afraid to touch anything unless it breaks everything, and so on. That does not mean they could not do more if they had the choice of it, especially after a time when they feel more confortable, they may go out locking a bit, or someone more knowledgeable can show them this or that, and they will be really happy to know about it. What you are saying is that the vast majority of users don't want to know anything about computers, and anyway, they don't have the right thing to learn about it. Well, it is lest brutally said, but basically it is that. > I'm saying what users I target because I've been requested to say it. > I believe vast majority of computers users (and of potential users) doesnt > have an interest in computer itself, and I'm saying I target this majority > of users. Nothing more. You are targeting potential future users, by antagonizing the existing user base, this is no good way, better to think about a way to satisfy everyone, and not forget that even basic users will be able to evolve and learn more things, especially if gnome/galeon provides them an environment where they are not afraid that any minor change will break everything.
