So, then there is a problem with the simpler interface, is it not ?

Well, the idea is that they be not lost when they enable it. The idea is
to set it up in such a way that simply disabling it will revert all
changes done while it was set, so people screwing up will easily revert
to a sane setup, then there is no danger in that.

Or maybe there should be multi level undo/redo in option settings ? :)))

Yes, but as such, you limit these possibly usefull features to the
initiated, which i don't think is desirable.

BTW, how do you enable mouse gestures in galeon 1 ?
