It's obvious you have to use common sense. But looking at your comments
your position seemed to be a lot more I follow HIG when I like it.
Settings menu is not very related to this, my main opposition was not the
HIG compliance. But I fully agree with Calum that using another term is
bad.

I dont think they are extremist, that's where we disagree.

plugin.

Understanding what javascript is and why one would need to disable it is
a lot more than point and click
