Philip? Ric? Of >the /concrete/ proposals from marco, what is it you object to? Luis, probably we are probably all tired to discuss these things and rediscuss them every two months :( The opposite philosophical ground has unfortunately very practical consequences. I think galeon 2 with current mime types handling would suck, and philipl (sorry If I'm talking for you ... but I think you agree) think galeon 2 in his current status sucks (even if current mime types handling). Our positions are very very distant. I have no hope to be able to agree with philipl on any of the items in that list (let's forget for now what he would like to readd). That doesnt mean I would oppose to try it once again. The project definately need to someone to take care of the global design of the user interface. I did that work until now because I like it and because I dont think the other developers are particularly interested to do it. Now I'm in the terrible situation where as a mantainer I should avoid a fork and as ui designer I cant accept things that are very distant from my global vision of the user interface. What a pain :) Marco ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net email is sponsored by:ThinkGeek Welcome to geek heaven. http://thinkgeek.com/sf
