Personally I don't see the contradiction between a feature rich browser "for geeks" and a browser usable by "real users". Other browsers, ie. Internet Explorer, has tons of features that are way too advanced for most people to understand, but still it's used by ~90% of the people using the web. Take for instance the security settings in IE. You can use a slide bar to switch between "high", "medium", "medium-low" and "low", but click "Custom level" and you're presented with choices like "Access data sources across domains", "Launching programs and files in an IFRAME" and "Software channel permissions". No normal users know what these things are, still they're in there. And under the "Advanced" tab you have options like "Force offscreen compositing even under Terminal Server", "Use inline AutoComplete", "JIT compiler for virtual machine enabled" and tons of other things cryptical to the guy next door. And no, I'm not saying "Look to Microsoft" :), but I think it shows that it's possible to have advanced features in a browser used by J Random Surfer, and thus satisfying both camps in the Galeon group.
