Also, I was a bit upset with all this :-( There are a lot of specific small items that at the end sum up a lot. For example, I agree with Philip about some things (notably mime types) and I agree with many of the comments from users in this mailing list (about settings, java(script) console, some prefs....). Some of those could be solved with little changes (like adding custom toolbar buttons, etc). But I think that the overall direction of the project is wrong (for me). I will continue using galeon and I hope to still hack in it, because I need a browser for my gnome desktop[1]. But I'm tired of discussing about the UI. I liked galeon 1 UI. It had some problems but galeon 2 has some too. For me, the perfect galeon 2 would be galeon 1 UI using the gnome 2 libs and with some changes for usability and consistency (following the HIG!). But changing the target userbase and explicitly excluding me was not in my plans... I am a bit unmotivated. Ricardo.
