Would it be possible for you, not to oppose the idea that was presented in
the "Ideas for future of Galeon 2" -mail and which was then further
elaborated by Tommi and Marco (among others) ??

So it, in short, would be: building a "vanilla" browser with extension
structure (loadable plugins) for adding extra functionality and ui.

This would allow for all of you to concentrate on the issues dearest to you,
without having to go completely in different ways. This approach seems like
very good compromise.

The discussion of target users obviously isn't productive, but luckily this
could be largely avoided with the extension -approach.
Moreover, probably a
"as few ui things as possible" <--> "all the cool things I ever wanted"
-scale would be more convenient than the
"non-tech" <--> "tech" user -scale.

As I understand it, Tommi has already done some stuff for the extension
things, so this would already allow for starting the hacking on the things
that are closest to one's heart.

Afterall, yes, this is supposed to be fun and motivating. It sometimes just
takes lot of time and patience to solve the conflicts of interest. But when
those are overcome, the results are way much better...
