I'm not an expert in Bonobo (I've only written a small tool using it for
the UI) but would it be possible to define a Bonobo interface
Galeon:Extension which plugins implements? When Galeon starts it tries
to start and merge the UI of all components which implement that
interface

This would mean that extensions can be written in any language which
exposes the Bonobo API, such as C, C++, Python, etc.
