It looks like the plugins approach I proposed is being considered at least by philip. Having plugins that make galeon usable outside gnome would not be bad I guess. But I made very very clear since the beginning that galeon was targeted to Gnome users (it's even in the application short description). I dont feel guilty if the development conflict with usage outside it ...
