No problem with me, I can use a text editor if I know what to edit.

Thanks - the first post
<http://freedesktop.org/pipermail/xdg/2004-July/004140.html> told enough
to convince Galeon to offer realplay for Real* files as well.

I mixed /usr/share/applications/totem.desktop and
/usr/share/applications/realplay.desktop and created a new
/usr/local/share/applications/realplay.desktop from it (I didn't find
where I could put that file in my home directory). Then I ran
update-desktop-database and Galeon immediately started to offer realplay
for the Real* files - no restart necessary, no gnome-settings-daemon
necessary. Here's the new realplay.desktop:

[Desktop Entry]
Encoding=UTF-8
Version=0.9.2
Name=Real Player
Type=Application
Comment=Real Player 10 (GOLD)
Exec=realplay
Path=
Icon=realplay.png
Categories=Application;AudioVideo;
Terminal=false
DocPath=
MimeType=application/vnd.rn-realmedia;audio/x-real-audio;audio/x-pn-realaudio;audio/vnd.rn-realaudio;image/vnd.rn-realpix;video/vnd.rn-realvideo;audio/x-pn-realaudio-plugin;

Regards...
