I'm not quite seeing what you are, I end up with 2 windows being
spawned.

That particular link looks like:

It seems as though the window name is not being set for windows spawned
via javascript links, this could well be a mozilla embedding problem
rather than galeon itself, however it needs looking at.

Please could you report this to bugzilla ?
