Group members,
With all due appreciation to the coders who
created this product, especially the earlier versions.
Using the following;
Fedora Core 3: 2.6.10-1.741_FC3
Mozilla: 1.7.3
Galeon: 1.3.19
Firefox: 1.0
HP Laserjet 4 set up as a Postscript printer
I can not get Galeon to print the headers and
footers information for web pages. Firefox and
Mozilla browsers do so.
In Galeon (File > Print > Appearance) shows
Footers and Headers checked.
In Galeon (File > Print > Print Preview) displays
Headers and Footers.
In Galeon (File > Print > Appearance) changing
margins, unlike Firefox where it does enable the
printing of Headers and Footers, has no effect.
In about:config Firefox and Galleon both show the
following Preference names;
print.print_headercenter
print.print_headerleft
print.print_headerright
print.print_footercenter
print.print_footerleft
print.print_footerright
In about:config only Firefox shows the following
additional Preference names;
print.printer_PostScript/HPLJ4.print_headercenter
print.printer_PostScript/HPLJ4.print_headerleft
print.printer_PostScript/HPLJ4.print_headerright
print.printer_PostScript/HPLJ4.print_footercenter
print.printer_PostScript/HPLJ4.print_footerleft
print.printer_PostScript/HPLJ4.print_footerright
Do the additional Preference names in Firefox account
for its ability to print Headers and Footers while
Galeon can't or won't.
Please, what am I or Galeon missing.
