But, it's still way up there at the top, not where my eyes are looking
(pretty mcuh the center of the displayed page). And it's not an obvious
action (EG a popup). Seems really clunky compared to the way it works in
1.2. In truth that's the major reason that I switched to Galeon from
Mozzila. 

Care to identify any reasons to stay with a diffeernt (broken IMHO) version
of Galeon, rather than just use Firefox, if I have to relearn how to do
things, and lose useful functions?

I'm serrious, what are the advantegs of the 1.3 version of Galeon that
would make me want to use it in place of Firefox?

Sessions are _NOT_ bookmarks, OK they are at best a superset of bookmarks.
I've played with thi a bit today, and I might be able to get some of the
functionality back using this, but.

I have sessions for various browsers (home work etc), an the browsers start
up and auto open all the appropriate pages I'll be refering to on a regular
bassis from there. Can I even acomplish this, mutch less conveintently
switch between these "sessions" with the new way of doing this?

I just find it hard to accept the idea that removing useful functionality
is an _improvment_. As I mentioned in a thread on this today. Im almost
certain I'm going to KDE instead of the newer version of Gnome (I'm at 1.4)
as I can't even come close to replicating the fucntionality that I have in
my existing 1.4 setups. Just a small example. I have toolbars with lot's of
applets, and most of them no longer seem to be in Gnome. Not all of them
are in KDE either, but there do seem to be more there. Not that KE is
without warts. I can't for the life of me figure out how to convince it not
to mess with the background (root window). In Gnome 1.4 I can select that,
and then I have a script that Gnome runs for me on startup thta slects a
random image from a directory, and scales it to fit the background. Not
really required, but I really like it.
