External bookmarks manager (was: Re: Updated wishlist items)

Basically, we can add a whole bunch of (potentially buggy) features to
the browser without decreasing stability and increasing interface cruft
for the majority of users who'll never use those features.

I'm not sure exactly what you mean by an "external bookmarks manager".
But we've got a del.icio.us extension in our TODO list somewhere -- that
would be cool. And we can always try to convert Crispin over to Epiphany
by implementing Galeon's bookmarks interface instead of Epiphany's
love-it-or-hate-it topic-based bookmarks system ;). And Peter Harvey has
coded another potentially awesome bookmarks manager which dynamically
creates menu hierarchies from flat topics... it didn't make it into
Epiphany 1.6, so we may try to make it an extension.

This probably falls under the "Firefox extension" topic you mentioned in
your original post. Firefox has a del.icio.us extension already.
