I hope that you are not sick of me yet :) I was using galeon for two or three years maybe more. And I'm also a full linux convert (started converting 8 years ago, deleted windows 5 years ago, and 1 year ago I started deleting windows on computers of my family members). My wife is happy to use linux, too :) Oh well. Long time ago I was trying all possible linux distributions. Whole process took me 4 years, to find the best one for me (guess which one ;). Then I also tried all possible window managers to pick the best one (you already know which one). The same was with email client, and web browser. I feel like I've reached my desktop nirvana and I'm really happy with that :) So with this introduction maybe you will look at me from more positive perspective :) Galeon has something that simply bought my soul. Lots of small things that give the user a feeling of holding something extremly powerful, yet light and easy to handle. You could compare that with lightsaber from starwars, or with xtrem. And, unfortunately, one of those small things has disappeared in new version of galeon. Therefore my feature request is to add it back! I'm talking about "sessions". Yes I know that in 'bookmarks' menu I can 'add tabs as folder' and I can 'open folder in tabs'. This is a really good feature. But I want more. I want to store all my windows and all their tabs. In old galeon that was possible. Meybe it can work in a following way: in 'bookmarks' menu add a command: - 'add session as folder'. It will work in a similar manner to 'add tabs as folder', but it will add ALL opened windows, using a menu separator (horizontal line) to separate windows. - then add to right-click menu: 'open folder as new session', and it will close all opened windows and open those from the folder. - also add to right-click menu: 'open folder in current session' - it will not close all currently opened windows - it will just open new windows (and their tabs) from that folder. I don't care much about windows positions and size, widow-manager will take care of that, and I guess that it's not possible to store that information in bookmarks folder. But using menu separator (horizontal line) it is possible to store separate windows. I hope that you will appreciate my user input :) -- Janek Kozicki | ------------------------------------------------------- SF email is sponsored by - The IT Product Guide Read honest & candid reviews on hundreds of IT Products from real users.
