Galeon binary packages are provided by third party distributors, it is
not possible for us (the galeon devels) to provide binaries for all the
variations of linux (debian/redhat/suse/joerandomdistro), and as such we
rely on the distributors to get the dependencies correct, if the
packages don't work then they might be able to help.

There is a relatively easy way to get Galeon rpm's, you can build them
yourself (which isn't nearly as scary as it sounds). I believe the
command is "rpm -tb galeon-1.3.21.tar.bz2" (I'm sure someone will be
along to correct me if that is wrong). If might complain about some
missing dependancies, but if you find the -devel packages and install
them, then the resulting galeon rpm file should work fine.

I do try to help people with problems, but please remember that I, like
all the Galeon developers, develop it for free, for fun, and sometimes
'real life' gets in the way.
