Well, I know that there is an option to save the session but this
doesn't work in all cases, afaik. Example (I just tried) :
- Open three differents galeon windows
- Open several tabs in all windows
- Close one window with the close button of the window title bar
- Close galeon with "quit" in file menu or CTRL+Q
- Reopen galeon, you will have only two windows restored

So this option is very convenient when you quit your WM session, but I
find this doesn't handle all the possible cases, especially when you
have palms between your fingers ;-)

Otherwise, I admit this is not a very urgent feature, but this would be
great to add it in the future, optional of course, so that it could be
disabled for people who don't want it.
