Typing a lowercase t selects text for "overwriting"

First, I'd like to thank the developers for an excellent product. No matter which browser I've tried, I always end up returning to Galeon. Unfortunately, I'm having a minor issue with the new version, 2.0.0. I installed Galeon 2 earlier today and this problem wasn't there initially. I haven't been able to find any about:config setting that might be interfering (though there could be one). Whenever I type a lowercase t all text within a browser "text window" is highlighted, so that if I press another key, the text is deleted. The t never appears. The behavior is similar to that of alt-a, and this only happens within Galeon. (I'm defining "text window" as a Google search text entry area, the url text box, "about:config" filter text box). Another issue I noticed while looking through the about:config settings, was that the "reset" option didn't always restore the default setting. For one instance, I believe the change was made, but not updated in the current view. After closing and restarting the browser, the setting was back to the default. I'm running Gentoo Linux on an AMD 64 machine, with Galeon running in a chroot. I've had no other problems, and Galeon was fine before the 2.0.0 upgrade. Let me know if there is anything else I can provide. Thanks, Pete. ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Splunk Inc.
