Here's one: the file was 477104 bytes long, and containing many sequences of empty lines (\n[ \t]+\n). I stripped off those empty lines and galeon now starts properly, w/ a .xbel weight of 469517 bytes. No idea if the problem was the size or the empty lines. Would this crash depend on the XML parser lib that comes w/ the FC5? (and BTW, why are there so many empty lines in?) Regards, -- wwp
