Same here. Best of these search boxes is that they have their own
history drop down box.

Epiphany apparently supports smart bookmarks as regular bookmarks, i.e.
you just put the smart address in the normal bookmark address field.

E.g. something like:

{encoding="UTF-8"}http://www.google.de/search?q=%s&hl=de&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&btnG=Google-Suche&lr=

The '{encoding="UTF-8"}' is optional, the "%s" is the search term, just
like in Galeon.
