Is this a printing bug?

Although I have used galeon for years, until yesterday I don't think  
I'd ever tried to print email which had major html parts.

When I read the email, it displays properly; however, when I try to  
print it:

a) if I go to the print preview pane, I get a globe (web) icon followed
    by the text "Type: text/html".
b) if I try to go ahead and print it anyway, I get the same but with
    the icon replaced by a solid black figure matching the outline of
    icon. (same results on PS/B+W laser printer or HPPCL/color injet).

Whether this is a bug or a known issue I can't tell (haven't see it in  
the email archives, but that doesn't mean I didn't just miss it...).   
If it is a new bug, could it also be caused by a configuration option  
I've hosed?

Any info would be useful - I was going to look into the code, but no  
use duplicating effort or going down a path that someone has already  
found to be not useful.
