Galeon hanging

When I upgraded to Galeon 2.0.2, I encounter frequeng hangs, forcing
me to kill the process. This appears to happen with certain sites, but
not others. What is odd is that the troublesome sites can be very
elementary. 

For example, 

 http://www4.ncsu.edu/unity/lockers/users/f/felder/public/kenny/papers/ti.html

I can access the site, but not save it. Looking at the source code,
this site is very simple. It has no style sheet. It uses my browser's
defaults except for: FONT FACE="COURIER". It consists of a table,
several links to images, and not much else.

It lacks any DOCTYPE. In fact the entire header is simply:
