Message-ID <[email protected]>
This message fits logically into a series of bug report,
sent in quick succession, all beginning with the phrase "AS
PREDICTED #x, for x = 1 - 5, where it would be #6; but I have no
idea how to post it there, since Bug Buddy does that posting. My
apologies for sending it here instead.

I opened Galeon as root with "galeon &" -- and got a message
(below), but also got Galeon. What's more, when I hit ^T with that
galeon up, it actually *gave* me the new tab. [# 1 - 5 had all
reported crashes.]

[root@topblack btth]#
** (galeon:18512): WARNING **: I could not load the bookmarks file,
will load the default bookmarks from
/usr/share/galeon/default-bookmarks.xbel.

** (galeon:18512): CRITICAL **: radio_group_set_from_value:
assertion `action != NULL' failed

Note the blank line, and absence of a prompt. I found the
URL for web access to this account -- which does not yet show any
emails of reports on any of today's predicted crashes -- and Galeon
worked.

I finally closed Galeon by clicking the X in the upper right
corner, and its tab on my Gnome terminal still had and still does
have the message above. I will now close off with ^C.

 	That worked.

Then I went to the panel drawer where I keep my browser
launchers; removed Galeon's; and added it back, using Add to Drawer.
I'll try ^T again presently.

I have yet to find any way of putting this message where I
can have any hope of any developer ever seeing it.

I've been unable for weeks to post to Gmane's version of the
Galeon list (on which virtually nothing has been appearing).

I have a fresh subscription to the list (set to nomail,
since I greatly prefer Gmane; but I do get and read mail sent to me
directly at this swva dot net address).

I'll try it, with the request that someone who can please
pass it to any Galeon developer, Gnome developer, or other Friendly
Alpha Plus Technoid who ought or might could want to see it. TIA!
