Helpful Galeon users/developers,
Summary:
Searching using "keyword:" doesn't work in Galeon 2.0.4.
Problem:
I have recently gone from Fedora 5 to Fedora 8 (Galeon 2.0.3 to Galeon
2.0.4). It was mostly a smooth transition, but one thing is bugging me
about using Galeon. Searching using "keyword:" in the address/location
text field doesn't conduct a search but returns an error message: "Firefox
doesn't know how to open this address, because the protocol (keyword)
isn't associated with any program." In about:config I have keyword.enabled
set to true.
What happened? Why doesn't this work? Is there any way to restore the
desired functionality?
Thank you for your suggestions and help on this matter. I am happy to
provide more information to help diagnose the problem.
Aubrey
