Select the bookmark in the right pane and hit the delete key or click on
the waste paper basket icon (Delete selected bookmarks).

In my opinion the only thing that could be a bit confusing are the two
panes. To delete a bookmark you have to use the right pane, everything
else works also in the left pane.

If there's something else that's confusing for you please elaborate a
bit.
