galeon is no longer working, nothing happens

Sad day for me.

when I start galeon nothing happens. Not even a single error message,
no CPU is consumed at all, a single galeon process is present on the
system and nothing else. No messages in terminal.

mozilla has removed capability to embed gecko as a component.

I guess that galeon is silently trying and failing to embed gecko.

downgrade mozilla, perhaps?
