galeon: privacy for the users

dear sourceforge,

actually i am using GNU/linux gNewSense i don't use anymore Galeon, and i
am sorry for this, for the fact that all the traffic is spied by the
ISP's, and this is not correct.

with the excuse, for the law against terrorism, they are using the data
retection, this is not correct for a simple think

a) if i go to buy a cutter, i can use it to cut the steak, as possibly i
could use it to kill a person, but if a buy a cutter it's not said that i
am potential killer, so a nation must grant security to their own
citizens, and offers services of polices and carabineers if it is
necessary.

but the data rection it is an instrument to log all the activities of the
users, and as i said over, must be offered a service of secuirity,
normally paid by citizens, but they never receives it.

anyway data retection it is not used as possible instrument necessary for
a public minister, which works in a court, it is normally used from ISP's
to grant security to the ISP's and to the government, to know which type
of traffic it is done on internet. and this is not correct, this means to
spy people.

to have a little of privacy, i am using Tor, it is possible to download it
from http://torproject.org but it works with FireFox, which it's not
totally 100% Free Software.

another point which we must to speak, it's that on Galeon, there are the
links with logos which point to google.

this is one of more big errors ! for the simple fact that it's one of more
bad corporations.

a) cisco systems
b) google
c) microsoft
d) telecom italia
e) wanadoo subsidiary of France Telecom
f) yahoo

as CISCO Systems, Telecom Italia, Wanadoo, a subsidiary of France Telecom
have been used by governments for the purpose of censoring the Internet
preventing freedom of expression.

This is not good and this is not correct !

a public minister of a court can ask the logs of users or of an user if
there is the suspect that him or they have committed a crime, but it is
not possible etablish that are all potential criminals.

a government must give confidence to its citizens and must also earn the
trust of its citizens, can not all be potential criminals.

to the same time citiziens can't spied (basing on these criteria) this is
not correct for them.

so we must introduce Tor, Tails, Privoxy and we must remove the logos of
Google, and put the logos of Startpage and Duckduckgo.

to the same time we must say to the people to use riseup.net (riseup.net
it is registered on gandi.net, the same isp used by Free Software
Foundation) to obatain an e-mail and we must invite them to use
openstreetmap.org to obtain the maps.

normally i use startpage.com and duckduckgo.com to search documents on
internet and they work fine.

will be he icing on the cake, inviting people to use GPG, which means get
your own key, to send encrypted e-mailes.

i hope that in the future, you would to support them.
