Sneak Peek on Gallery 3.0

After just three months of development, the first public release of  
Gallery 3.0 is here! Gallery 3.0 Alpha 1 is a technology preview  
release with most features in place and ready to take a test drive  
with you.

It was back in October at the Gallery Sprint when the Gallery crew set  
out to create a new Gallery application with simplicity in mind. Three  
months have passed, the new Gallery version is up and running and  
indeed much easier to use, customize and extend. Check out the
