Re: G3 on Windows sub-forum

I'm fine with a forum where users who want to use Windows support each
other.  But I am not going to accept any code into the main line that makes
sacrifices for Windows.  It's hard enough to keep up with stability,
performance and security on one platform - having to think about a second
platform will add too much drag on the process.

Even if a developer steps up to own the Windows code, they can own it in
their own fork - the repo I own won't make any concessions to unsupported
platforms.  If you recall, we went through this with Postgres and it was
the same issue and one of our users stepped up and maintained his own fork
- that's totally fine with me.
