Re: wordpress authentication

It's possible I wrote it - it's been a while and I don't remember.  But I
don't recall ever using it so it's likely that it came from somebody else
and I simply committed it to github on their behalf.

There's no clear roadmap at the present - if you'd like to submit
improvements, we'd love to have them.  You should be able to make almost
any modification you want as a plugin which we can commit to the
gallery3-contrib repo, if you need a fundamental structural change, let's
talk about it and we'll see whether or not it makes sense in the context of
the project.
