That's true - in the simplest HTML5 implementation, modern browsers
have got it all figured out for us.  That's the beautiful vision that
is HTML5 video, and a good reason why I'm not in love with Flowplayer
v5 (IMHO, it's turned a simple video tag into an API that seems kinda
heavy and plasters its logo on your movie unless you pay $1k... when
it used to be a simple video tag...).

The problem is that when you start adding little asterisks to the
basic implementation.  For example, it'd be nice if we could style the
Flash and HTML5 players consistently.  And, it'd be nice if we did a
careful job of browser detection to deal with Flash carefully.  And,
it'd be nice if we did the same a fallback for the audio tag.  And...
well, once we've accomplished all that cleanly, we've basically
written a whole player :-).
