REST image upload fails

Hi guys, 

in iGallery3 you've also the possibility to upload images in your gallery3 installation. 

But now one customer/tester has the problem, that the upload request returns the following response: 

HTTP/1.1 500 Internal Server Error
Date: Wed, 06 Nov 2013 16:28:48 GMT
Server: Apache
Accept-Ranges: bytes
Content-Type: text/html
Connection: close
<!-- SHTML Wrapper - 500 Server Error -->



Does somebody has any idea what's the problem here?
