external parsers?

Hello,

  I'm running some tests of htdig in hopes of implementing it for our intranet.  However the external parsers don't seem to parse the recent versions of Word or Adobe.  Are there any late 2003 or early 2004 versions of the doc2html.pl parser out there that I just haven't found, or should I just start hacking away on my own and hope for the best?
